Jerry Last lived in California, was divorced and had one son and one daughter. Jerry was one of nine children and only three survive today. Jerry's brother Richard died in March of 1998, and a sister Shirley Shoup died in November of 2000. The family in Logansport doesn't have many details about his death but were certain that he did not die in an automobile accident as had been reported. Jerry, at one time, also attended Washington Township Elementary School (class photo available of him in the 3rd grade there).
