Edmond R. “Ed” Proietti                     September 27, 2017

 

Proietti-Edmond.jpg     Edmond R. “Ed” Proietti, 93, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away at 12:10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at his residence.  He was born on July 24, 1924, in Mt. Kisco, New York to John & Natalie (Salvati) Proietti.

     He graduated from Mt. Kisco High School, attended a business college in New York and was a United States Army veteran during World War II.  He was married on August 14, 1948, in Pleasantville, NY to Adele E. Kolb who preceded him on August 14, 1971.  He retired as a plant manager for Spartan Copper and Brass Company after 40 years in New York, Illinois, California, and Texas.  He moved to the Warsaw area in April 2017 from Winchester, Virginia.

     He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lions Club, and V.F.W all in Winchester, VA.  He was an avid golfer and won the Senior Olympics Championship in South Carolina and Florida.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Kathleen (Greg) Hall of Winchester, VA

2 Sons – Gary (Sandra) Proietti of Mentone & Garth Proietti of Houston, TX

14 Grand & 18 Gt. Grandchildren

Brother – Raymond Proietti of Manalapan, NJ

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, granddaughter – Anna Proietti, and brother- Archimedes Proietti.     (9-28-2017)

     No services will be held at this time. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw,  IN. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Danville, IL at a later date.    (9-28-2017)

     Preferred memorial may be given to Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice, Inc., P.O. Box 1196, Warsaw, IN 46581.
